Haggart, Carmel (nee Gosselin)

1934-2021

The family announces with sorrow the passing of our mother Carmel Alice Haggart at the age of 86 years old at Pioneer Manor with family by her side on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Predeceased by her loving husband Clinton “Red” Haggart in 2017, and her son Rodney in 1986. Treasured mother to Deborah (John) of Latchford, Clint (Line) of Capreol and Yvonne (Randy) from South Carolina. Daughter of Joseph and Yvonne Gosselin (nee St. Père), both predeceased. Dear grandmother of Jessica (Chris) of Englehart, and Clinton III of Sudbury. Great grandmother of Hannah, Lucas, Breann and Kamia. Step grandmother of 11 and step great grandmother of 23. Survived by her sister Alice (Buck-predeceased), her brother Hubert (Sharon) and sister in laws Eila and Claudette. Predeceased by Remi (Ellen), Rolly, Lucille (Valier), Gabriel and Robert. Missed by her best friend Jeannine Racine. Carmel was at her happiest in the kitchen cooking for her family and friends. She was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan “Go Leafs Go”, and an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Her biggest love was her family. We are proud to say thank you for being a loving and supportive Mom. We would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor, you all know who you are “Pumpkin”. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
