Grandchamp, Joseph Leonard

Joseph Leonard (Len) Grandchamp, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Ontario.

Born on August 29, 1944, in Cache Bay, Ontario, Len was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. He worked many years as a custodian and spent much of his life as a skilled carpet and flooring installer.

Len is survived by his loving children: Daniel (spouse Christina), Linda (spouse Rick), and Andre (spouse Rachel); his cherished grandchildren: Michelle, Brian, Adam, Shannon, Matthew, Emily, Shawna, Paige, and Sydney; and his great-grandchildren: Jersey, Simon, Jasper, Brooks, and Noah.

Len was predeceased by his mother, Aline; his father, Emilien; his brother, Ernest (Ernie); and his sisters, Pauline and Rita.

Len was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved making feasts for family gatherings and always enjoyed puttering around his yard, taking on various projects.

As per his wishes, there will not be a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. https://cancer.ca/en/ways-to-give/personal-donation

Len will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
