Godin, Suzanne (née St Martin)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Suzanne (Sue) Rose Marie Godin at the age of 73 years old. She passed, surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Godin, and loving Mother of Danny (Liane), Angèle (Mike) and Gisèle.

She will be missed by her grandchildren Alyssa-Lynn (Terry), Justin (Michele), Brandon (Nicole), Sara and Fenton.

She will also miss her great-grandchildren Elijah, Bryce, Olivia, Emma and Noah.

Daughter of the late Germain and Yvonne St Martin (née Beaulieu). She was the loving sister of Raymond (predeceased), Eddy (predeceased), Denis (Janet), Claire (Earl) and “baby brother” Andy.

Her presence will be painfully missed by Lori-Ann (Kevin), Colette (Jim), and dear friends Mimi and Rose.

Sue was very enthusiastic about cooking, baking, playing Bingo and making everyone happy. A few of the foods we will all especially remember were her famous gravy-dipped hamburgers and poutine, amazing cookies (way better than store-bought), pies and desserts, especially at Christmas time (her most favourite holiday).

We will all miss you tremendously. Sue left very sincere and heartfelt footprints on our hearts. Now that you have gained your wings, you are gone to make others smile. You and your husband are finally reunited forever.

Special thank you to the nurses and doctors at HSN for their great care and compassion.

As per Sue’s wishes, there will no visitation or service.

  1. My deepest sympathies to you Danny, Angele and Gigi. I have many fond memories of your mom and dad growing up in Ryan Heights. Your mom was always a pillar for me when my parents both passed away. She definitely was a special lady and I will always remember her laughter and her delicious meals, because you know she always had to feed friends when they visited. My heart and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
