Fournier, Robert “Bobby”

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bobby on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at his residence in his 72nd year. Loving husband to Julie of 45 years & favourite son in law (only son in law) to Vi (Curly). Son of the late Leopold & Alice Fournier. Brother to Lise & Marc, predeceased by sisters, Colette, Yogi, Monique & brother Gus, loving uncle to many nieces & nephews. Bob & Julie enjoyed their home on the French River for 25 + years & enjoyed their Florida home for 8 years. Bob was an avid golfer at The Voyageur Golf Course and became good friends of owners Ray & Lorna. Occasionally you would see Bob cutting the fairways. He loved to fish The Bad River with his buddy Chevy and neighbours could always count on Bob for a helping hand. He will be sadly missed by neighbours Jim & Terri of 20 years with their children Troy, Kale, Devon & Dane who became Bob & Julie’s kids as well. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to a charity of your choice.

  8. Very few close friendships happen over a short period of time, they are usually formed over a longer periods . Not mine. Bobby was a one of a kind person, caring, considerate, always there to help
(without being asked if), always upbeat, smiling & laughing, having great time. Friendships come and go, some last a lift time. This one is for life ! Miss you my friend. See you in the future. Maybe at the Bad. Love you.
