Gary Rene Fleming passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Cherished son of the late Leo and Georgette (Kinglsey) Fleming. Beloved husband of Claire (Labelle) Fleming. He was survived by his siblings, Gail (Don), Glenn, Donna and Scott (Lori). Proud father of Christina and Jonathan (Libby). Grandfather of Evan, Audrey and Elliot, all of Washington. Proud stepfather to Lise (Dennis), Josee, Lori (Claude). Step grandfather to Darren, Daniel (Alex), Elysia (Brad), Isabelle (Joey) and Nicholas. He was also step great grandfather of Norah and Xander. He will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gary will be remembered as everyone’s big brother, he was always available to lend a helping hand or a strong shoulder to cry on. He loved to travel especially to the east coast. His other passion was fishing which he often enjoyed with his dog. As per Gary's wishes there will be a Memorial Service in the Spring.
