It is with great sadness that we announce that Peter Duguay passed away peacefully at the age of 77, on July 18th, 2023. Peter was born in New Brunswick, son of Ted and Elizabeth Duguay (both pre-deceased). Dear brother to John and Linda (both pre-deceased). Peter leaves behind his loving wife Linda (née Robidoux) and children; Tina Duguay Blacklock, Lori-Ann St. Louis (Marc St. Louis), Karen Bunting (Brent Bunting) and Steve Duguay (Katie Regier).
Grumpa loved and cherished his grandchildren Wesley Blacklock, Michael Blacklock, Matthew St. Louis, Katie and Kristen Bunting, Brayden and Owen Duguay. Grumpa was also very proud of his great granddaughters Jenna, Keira and Jayde.
Peter always made his presence known and surely left a lasting impression. He was stubborn, set in his ways, a proud man. Peter was hard working, determined and took great pride in all that he did. In the words of his great friend, “He was stubborn, but that is what kept him going, a simple man, but not simple”. Peter will always be at the French River… his happy place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greater Sudbury Ringette “Passion for Ringette Bursary” can be made directly to gsringette@gmail.com and would be greatly appreciated. As per Peter request, there will be no visitation or service.

I remember being invited to visit and being shown the lovely home and garden that your father was so proud of. Lunch was served followed by a boat course and then some swimming. My thoughts are with you and your family.
