Passed away at the Maison McCulloch Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the age of 82 years.
Predeceased by her husband Yvon “Shorty” Drapeau. Loving mom of Sylvie (Gabriel) Parent and Richard (Mélanie) Drapeau. Cherished mémère of Melany (Robert) Gignac, Melissa Parent, Mathieu Parent, Audrey Drapeau, Anthony Drapeau and 1 great-grandchild Grayson Gignac. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Survived by sisters-in-law Gisèle, Huguette and Thérèse.
Lucille was very proud of her ceramic shop in Wahnapitae called ‘Lucille’s Ceramics’. It brought many from the community together.
A Memorial Mass will be privately held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice so they can continue the wonderful care they provide.

I first met Lucille and Yvon back in 1978. My business relationship transitioned into a personal relationship where both Bernice and I got firsthand experience what great people they were. Lucille shared her love of ceramics. Lucille also loved spaghetti and I would get a call from the Drapeau’s to come and join them at Tony V’s. We would share our family experiences and I can tell you Lucille loved her children and grandchildren. They were very proud of their children’s accomplishments. Gabe was always brought into our discussions. A great father and provider and not one to sit around. I consider myself very lucky to be called a friend of the family. Thank you Lucille for your love and friendship.
