In Loving Memory of Yvon Joseph Aime Parfait de Chevigny. We are sad to announce that Yvon passed away on the 11th of October, 2025 at the age of 74 years old.
Beloved husband of Therese, nee Ranger.
Beloved father of Aline de Chevigny, Lucie Gauthier (Bryan Bushie), and Jacinthe de Chevigny. Grandfather of Richard Gauthier Jr and Emelia de Chevigny.
Predeceased by his parents Aime de Chevigny and Lea Grenier.
Beloved brother to Guy (Lise Graveline), Daniel (Joanne, nee Blais), Nicole (Steve Vickers), Michel Juteaux (Madeleine), Andre Grenier (Jennifer, nee Tremblay), Denise Grenier, Rene Grenier (Jennifer, nee Walker). Predeceased by Claude (Nicole, nee Vellee), Lise, Gilles-Aime, and Luc (Victoire, nee Henri).
Also missed by many, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Yvon was a Jack of all Trades, 1st Class Mechanic, Welder, Millwright, and Carpenter. He could fix anything. He loved to unwind by going camping and fishing with his family, or playing with his computer.
A committal service will be held on the 23rd of October, 2025 at 10am, at the Civic Memorial Cemetery in Minnow Lake followed by a gathering from 11am to 4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 336, 66 Edison Road, Falconbridge.
