Cryderman, Jessie Crichton (nee Leslie)

May 16, 1921 – January 24, 2023

101 years

Today we said goodbye to our mother.

It is with great sorrow the family announces her peaceful passing at the Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron, ON.

Wife of the late William “Bill” Cryderman, predeceased 2003.

Loving Mother to Terry (Linda) Cryderman of Fernie, B.C., Fern (Dennis) O’Neill of Hanmer, ON., Neil (Anne) Cryderman of Sudbury, ON., and Carolyn (Dan) Seguin of Sudbury, ON. Cherished Nana to 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Jessie was born in North Bay, Ontario. Daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (nee Webster) Leslie. Survived by one sister Margaret Hunt of London, ON.,  and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Peter and sisters Agnes, Davina, Ruby and Helen.

During the war Jessie was one of the first women to work at INCO. She was an exceptional homemaker and baker, but perhaps her favorite role was being Nana and Great Nana to her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Thanks Mom, you taught us well, we love you and will miss you.

Now the day is over…………rest in peace.

There will be no visitation or service.

A private interment of ashes will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jessie’s memory to the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay & Districts.
