It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gerald “Gerry” Coursol at Health Science North on Monday, September 28, 2026 at the age of 67.
Son of the late Lucien Coursol and late Marie-Ange Coursol (née Ducharme). He leaves behind his cherished wife Sandra Coursol (née Harvey) of Hanmer, loving daughter Terry-Lynn Coursol (Mike Hudec) of Hanmer, grandchildren Trinity and Marek Hudec of Hanmer and Seth Sutherland of Orillia. Dear brother of Norm (late Valerie) of Dowling and Claude of Barrie. Predeceased by his sister Joanne (Andre) of Barrie.
Gerry retired from CN rail as a track foreman, but his true passion was fixing old vehicles. He had a gift for gab so if you ever met up with him you were bound to be talking for quite some time. He also loved to put a smile on your face whether with a joke or a funny meme. His family was his everything. A celebration of life will be held at later date.
