AUG 18,1950 - DEC 2,2024
David Stuart, Stacey Stuart & Lindsay Moggy would like to invite family and friends to gather at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1553 Weller St. Sudbury, On.
The memorial will be held between 1pm-5pm on May 31st, 2025. We will share stories, tears and laughter as we remember and celebrate our mom. She will be missed by so many, but never forgotten…
Hope to see you there.
We, the family of Shiela (Jane) Stuart, announce with great sorrow, her unexpected passing on Dec 2nd, 2024. She was born the 18th of Aug, 1950, the oldest child of John and Mary Werbeski (deceased). She grew up in Minnow Lake at her families home along with several brothers and sisters, Marilyn (Larry), Shirley, Linda (Wilfred), Audrey (deceased), Murray (Charmaine), Norm (deceased) and Billy (deceased). In high school she met the love of her life, David Stuart, and they married in September 1971. Jane was always a Queen, while Dave was the “happy go lucky” Jester.
Jane kept busy with various jobs and even had her own successful craft business. Jane (Dave played a role too) brought two beautiful girls, Stacey and Lindsay, into this world. Jane was the best mom she could be to her daughters and then her daughters’ families, Stacey (Guglielmo) and girls, Alexis and Aleah. Also, Lindsay (Chris) and their boys, Ethan and Owen.
Jane loved to treat herself, spoiling herself with many shopping adventures. Having a growing family only meant that she now had other people to spoil, and she certainly did that. She enjoyed seeing the world during her travels with Dave and family. Jane prided herself on her appearance, always looking her best. She also took pride in her home, making sure any guests were impressed with her taste and style. Her home was always welcoming and cozy, often filled with the smells of delicious home cooking, many of her dishes coming from old recipes of her parents’ homeland, Ukraine.
Sadly, throughout her life, Jane struggled with health issues. Jane was a strong fighter, never wanted to give up, always believing that she would get better soon.
On the 2nd of December, not knowing what the day would bring, Jane had loving conversations with both Lindsay and Stacey. Then, with Stacey and David by her side at home, she suddenly left us. Words cannot express the grief felt by her family.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, we are asking that anyone who wants, can donate to a charity of their choice in Janes honour.
