It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Viola (Curly) Campbell on May 17th, 2026 at Extendicare York, in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Campbell and longtime partner of Richard Courville. Predeceased by her daughter Vicky, grandson Sean, and great-great-granddaughter Desiree.
Survived by her daughter Julie Fournier (late husband Robert), and granddaughters Shelly Kavanaugh (Darcy) and Carrie McBride.
A special thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor at Extendicare York for the great care they gave Vi and making it a happy place for her – she truly felt like you were family. Sadly missed by friends Judy Ramsay, her daughter Nancy-Jo, and Paul and Kathy Flewelling, who loved her dearly.
As per Viola’s wishes, there will be no funeral visitation or service.
Julie, Thinking of you as you mourn the loss of your precious mother. I am Auntie Joyce’s daughter. Praying that you will find comfort in friends and family and in the precious memories you share together today and into the future.
