It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Deborah Ann Buchy (Dede) of Lively, Ontario who left this world on May 11, 2026 after a brief and brave battle with pancreatic cancer.
Beloved wife of Fred Buchy (predeceased). Devoted mother of Shannon Martin whom she loved first and foremost.
Born on January 31, 1959 to Albert (predeceased) and Rosette Salo. Survived by her 6 siblings Kenny (Valerie), Ricky (Debbie), Michael (Bud), Lisa (Randy Watts), Tina and Darrin (Sandra). She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews as well.
DeDe Worked at Home Hardware for 40 years, happily mixing paint and serving customers until she retired in August 2023. She could be found at home avidly gardening, reading in her rocking chair outside or watching her favorite shows with her daughter.
There will be no visitation or service per Deborah's wishes, but we please ask that all donations be made to the Jim and Shirley Fielding Cancer Foundation.
I was so saddened to hear of Debbie’s passing. She was a wonderful person
