Brush, Barbara (née Scott)

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Barbara Brush on September 18, 2023. Beloved wife of Daniel Brush (predeceased), devoted mother to Fred (Natalie) and Queenie (Ken) and cherished grandma to Barbie (Brian), Damian, Rilynn, Braden and Aiden, loved by her dog Ottis and daughter of Queenie and Irvine Scott (both predeceased). Barb lived for her children and grandchildren. She loved wholeheartedly and would do anything for them. Barb will be remembered for her warm smile, heartfelt hugs, friendliness, great sense of humor and her ability to make everyone she knew feel special. She will be forever missed, cherished, and will always be carried in our hearts. A special thanks to the doctors and staff at Health Science North ICU team and nurse Sheryl from the ER. A celebration of life will be held on October 1,2023 at 1pm-3pm at the Valley East Lions Club 4611 St. Joseph St, Hanmer, Ontario. A light lunch will be served. All friends and family are welcome.

She ‘mothered’ many of your friends, and will never be forgotten for the love and kindness she shared with everyone. She will truly be missed by all who were fortunate to know her.   5. Our sincere condolences to the family. I first met Barb when she lived in Windsor & it was an immediate friendship. Was so happy to meet up with her again when she lived in Capreol. Always called her “our angel”. Such a sweet & loving person…always wearing a beautiful smile. R.I.P. Barb.
