Biz was a man who loved deeply and lived simply. He found his greatest happiness surrounded by family and friends, whether gathered around a campfire, cheering on his beloved Montréal Canadiens or Toronto Blue Jays, or sharing a meal he had lovingly prepared.
Although he could be shy in a crowd, those who knew him best knew his warm smile, quick laugh, and generous heart. He was hardworking, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. His love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and sports brought him countless joyful memories.
More than anything else, Biz treasured his family. He was a devoted husband and a loving father. His unconditional love, quiet strength, and protective nature will remain with his family always.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the St-Charles Borromée Church in St.-Charles on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00, followed by a service at 11:30 am at the same location. Family and friends are then invited to share a meal at the St. Charles Community Centre on Casimir Road. To honour Biz’s love of sports, please wear your favourite hockey or baseball jersey. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice https://maisonsudburyhospice.org/donate/ would be appreciated.
