Booker, Kimberly

It is with profound love and great sadness that the family of Kimberly Booker announce her passing on March 26, 2026. Kim is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ernie, whose partnership and devotion were a cornerstone of her life. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

She was a devoted mother to Scott (Rachel) & Amy, and a proud and loving grandmother to her two grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Deeply loved by her parents, siblings, in-laws, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her for her strength, kindness, and delicious signature dishes. She also leaves behind dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.

In keeping with her wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

  4. I will always hold on to the way Kim offered me a kind caring guidance when life was
    overwhelming. Her heart was a haven of warmth and restless solicitude. She possessed an unwavering strength for her daughter and those she loved as her own, holing a gift for quiet resilience that never broke.

    Kim and Ernie’s love for each other was evident. The way they treated me as
    one of their own meant a great deal to me. I know she will be missed beyond words.

    My heart goes out to Amy and the entire Booker family;
    An energy as pure as Kim’s will stay with you always.

    Thoughts of you are always with me.
    Love, Christy ♥️
