It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces Arthur's passing Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 73. Son of the late Benoit and the late Gilberte (née Rondeau). Beloved common-law spouse for 30 years of Pauline Mercier (predeceased). Valued stepfather of Daniel Mercier (predeceased), Donald Mercier -Kuula (Steven) and Ben Mercier (Ann). Step-grandfather to 5 grandchildren. Loving brother of Maurice (predeceased), Paulette DaSilva (John) predeceased, Gilbert (Yvonne) and Gisèle Dennie. Treasured uncle of Michelle Bérubé, Renée Vanderharst (Jelle), Claire Carrière, Roger Carrière, Robert Dennie and Martine Dennie. Last but not least, Art's beloved fur baby, Shelby.
Arthur will be missed and lovingly remembered by many, inspired by his exuberant personality and sense of humor. In keeping with Arthur's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Donations in his memory can be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or SPCA.
