Beaudry, Georgette (Neault)

It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the peaceful passing of Georgette Beaudry (Neault) at the age of 85 on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Health Sciences North. Surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Georgette left this world embraced by the love and care of her family.

Georgette was the beloved wife of the late Maurice Neault and Leo Beaudry. A devoted and selfless mother, she leaves behind her children Diane (Robert Bangs), Lise (Fern Roy, predeceased), Louise (Ray Labranche), and Michel Neault (Wendy). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to eight grandchildren—Steven, Neil, Sylvie, Richard (predeceased), Mina, Nicholas, Jeffrey, and Matthew—and is fondly remembered by her 12 great-grandchildren: Noah, Emma, Austin, Emerson, Samuelle, Maeva, Kaitlyn, Jasmine, Anastaszia, Leonora, Arthur, and Paetyn.

Born to the late Aurele and Ida (Nault), Georgette was a loving sister to Jeanine (predeceased), Michel Daoust (predeceased), Lucille Daoust (Ernest, predeceased), Helene (predeceased) (Roger Lefebvre), Fernand Nault (predeceased), Normand Nault (predeceased) (wife Jacqueline), Robert Nault (Claudette, predeceased), Murielle Beaulieu (Richard), Pauline Turpin (Maurice, predeceased), and Roger Nault. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and all who were fortunate to know her.

Georgette had a kind and giving heart that touched everyone around her. She worked for the Sudbury Star and, in her free time, found joy in the simple pleasures of life—her evenings at bingo, her beloved Tim Horton’s coffee, and, most memorably, her pickerel dinners and Swiss Chalet meals. Above all, she was happiest in the kitchen, where she enjoyed hosting family dinners and soup luncheons with all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. It was through these small but meaningful acts of love that she built a lifetime of cherished memories, leaving a legacy of warmth and care for her family.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the ARCC nursing crew at Health Sciences North for their compassionate care and kindness during Georgette’s final days.

Georgette was truly loved by all who knew her. Her generous spirit, comforting presence, and deep love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date.
