In loving memory of Bruce Bankie, 69 years, who passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Annette Bankie (nee Lachapelle). Loving father of Rick Bankie (partner Christine) and Dean Bankie (wife Kari). Cherished grandfather of Kennedy, Caleb, and Brielle. Born in Sudbury, he was the son of the late Murray and Anita (nee Henry) Bankie. Dearly loved brother of Ralph (predeceased) (wife Rose). He was predeceased by his nephews Bob Bankie and Bradley Bankie and survived by his niece Tina Faulkner.
Bruce was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the outdoors. As a gracious host, he looked forward to the many gatherings in his garage with family and friends and especially his daily visit with his good friend Yvan Villeneuve. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. At Bruce’s request there will be no visitation or service.
