Allaire, Carmen

In loving memory of Carmen Allaire, 79 years who passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, surrounded by his family, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.

Born on March 10, 1945 he was the son of the late Raymond and Ida (Harvey) Allaire.

In 1965, Carm married his beloved wife Lorraine Ladouceur at St. Francois-Xavier in Cartier. Together they raised three children in Chelmsford, Anne (Ken) Allaire, Victoria (Enzo) Dozzi and Richard (Melanie) Allaire.  Carm was a loving Pepe who cherished his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He embellished their lives with so many stories, songs, knowledge and amazing fishing trips.  A devoted brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Carm retired from Falconbridge in 1999 as a Master Mechanic at the Strathcona Mill with 33 years of dedicated service.  He was a talented and skilled artist who enjoyed doing fretwork.  Family, friends, and customers who are fortunate enough to have the privilege to proudly display and treasure his art forever are truly blessed.

"With love-filled memories, we say goodbye to our cherished father, whose love guided our lives like a guiding star. You were our strength, our love, and our everything. Every spare moment was devoted to us, your children and grandchildren, teaching us lessons of love, courage, and unwavering dedication. We cherish the countless moments of joy you shared with us, a testament to your selflessness and devotion to family. Though life's journey must continue without your physical presence, your spirit will forever guide us. Rest peacefully, Daddy, knowing that your legacy of love and strength lives on within us. Life may never be the same without you, but your love, like a guiding star, will continue to light our way until we meet again."

In keeping with Carm’s request, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Sunnybrook Hospital (ALS) Research Clinic.
