Aelick, Randy

August 1,1961- August 26,2022

In loving memory of Randy Aelick who passed away at home surrounded by family after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer, on August 26^th 2022. Loved spouse & partner of 21 years, Debbie Aelick (Anwhatin). Treasured dad to Tia, Miranda (Brandon) and predeceased by his only son, Adam (2020). Cherished step dad of Brittany. Beloved pappa to Devon, Braydon, Hailey, Brianna and Christian; chosen pappa of Mckinley, Lilly, Tanner, Kash and Junior.

Originally from Little Current, Randy spent 20 years living in British- Columbia where he lived wild and partied hard with the best of ‘em. He eventually made his way back to Ontario and settled in Sudbury. In his later years, he was a chosen dad or grandpa to anyone who needed one, even just temporarily. He was always proud of his kids and grandkids accomplishments. He had a well-intentioned heart, and cared deeply for those who mattered most to him. He had an extended chosen family and many friends who will miss him greatly. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by his sister in law Jennifer (Junior) who was a great help during his illness. He will be missed greatly by close friends and family, Nancy (Patrick) as well as Derick (Maureen), Ray, Vicki and Dave (Cindy).

Randy was a busy body and loved being out of the house driving around, so he never minded helping family or friends out with rides. He loved having friends and family drop by to visit when he was home. Randy fought long and hard through his illness, and we take comfort knowing he is at peace now, and has joined his son and best friend Adam.  

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
