It is with great sadness that the family of Baldwin O. Abuwa-Henderson, 78 years announce his passing on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Denise Abuwa. Loving father of Richard, Fred (Amanda), and Julie (Ken). Cherished grandfather of Logan, Kaysia, and Braylen. Dear brother of Margaret (Nigeria) and Michael (Florida). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and his extended family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Baldwin’s Life will be held at a later date.
He will be missed. He was Roger’s friend. Second father of my daughter Angela and godfather of my granddaughter Isabella.

Baldwin was an active volunteer in the Afro-Heritage Association within Sudbury, and we will miss him for the infectious good-spirit that he brought to our gatherings. We pray that his wife, Denise, and the rest of his family will be comforted with warm memories of his presence at this sad time.

Baldwin was like a second father to me growing up. He was such a kind, good hearted and loving man who taught me a lot and was always amazing to my mom and I. From the bottom of both of our hearts, mom and I extend our deepest condolences. He will be dearly missed. 🙁
