Passed away peacefully at the Elizabeth Center on Friday, April 21, 2017. Loving husband of the late Joan Yeo (Sutherland). Beloved father of Jack (predeceased)(Margaret), William (Laurie), Douglas (Sandra predeceased) and Patricia Brennan (Gerry). Cherished grandfather/'gramps' of Caroline, Megan (James Delsaut), Christian, Bryan (Rosina), Kendra, Brendan (Whitney), Thomas (Mel), Melissa (Jeff) Decarlantonio; great grandfather to Emma, Anakin, Declan, Violet, Benjamin and Jack; and many nieces and nephews. Ted moved to Sudbury seeking and eventually marrying his childhood sweetheart Joan (nee Sutherland) in 1947 and began a respected career as stationary engineer with INCO. A truly dedicated family man, Ted enjoyed family camping weekends and supported his children's endeavors while teaching the values of hard work and integrity. In retirement years, he and wife Joan enjoyed travelling from coast to coast. He was incredibly proud of his family. He will be missed but never forgotten. The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Centre, who made Ted's time there so positive and comfortable.

I remember the days your dad used to visit at your house…usually always bringing Tim Horton’s coffee to share with you. Hang on to those good memories and know that he struggles no longer and is at peace.
