Wuorinen, Kenneth Francis

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Kenneth Francis Wuorinen in Sudbury on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Judy (née Stone) predeceased in 2011. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Helen Wuorinen (née Hemming) and sister Shirley Stone. Loving father of Sherri (Jeff McKibbon), Sandra Insinna (Tony), Sydney (Julie McKenzie) and Tyler (Julie). Papa to Hannah and Hayley McKibbon, Samantha (Ben Eye), Frank (Tara) and Alex Insinna, and Ethan and Jordyn Wuorinen. Special great grandfather to Georgia Eye. Sadly, missed by sisters Anita Mitchell (Robert), Linda Charron (Denis) and brother Raymond (Catherine) and cousin Jamie Saville. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Ken was a proud man. He took great pride in his work. He was a proud and loyal employee at Fisher Wavy, retiring in 2010, logging 4 million miles over a 45-year career. Mostly though, Ken was a proud family man who cherished every opportunity to gather with his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. The family takes comfort in knowing that Ken is reunited with his beloved Judy. There will be no service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated.
