It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Wright (nee Fenske), 66 years on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Cal Wright. Loving mother of Lisa Keenan (Scott), Lonny Wright (Candice Speedie), William “Bill” Wright (Rhonda) and Sara Lotter (Dave). Cherished and doting grandmother of Katie, Grace, Michael, Gunner, Jaiden, Jesse, Emily and Matthew. Dear sister of Tim Fenske - predeceased (Barb) and Rod Fenske (Kathy). Born in Sudbury, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Leona (Martel) Fenske. She was loved by many other family members and friends and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Sue leaves a rich legacy as someone who was extremely sociable and very kind-hearted to all. Her greatest joys in life were the times she was able to spend with family at the farm on Fenske Rd. A special thank you to Maggie, as well as Dr. Ogundimu, Dr. Rob Anderson and the staff of the ICU at Health Sciences North for their compassion and care. In keeping with her wishes, a Celebration of Susan’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Lockerby Branch 564, 2200 Long Lake Rd., Sudbury, on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Our heart goes out to Susan’s children Sara,Dave Emily & Mathew. Rod and Cathy as well this is hard to loose a sibling I know . We are both at that age when life’s realities are upon us and the passing of family and friends comes far to soon and often . We must cherish our memories and forge on with our lives . Share stories and laughter of the past that made Susan special , as a mother ,wife , sister and cousin
