The family will remember Gord as enjoying life especially during retirement, he loved his family and they were his “#1 Priority”, hard worker & a wonderful provider. He loved long holiday trips with his daughters and one day trips later on in life. His daughters remember him as being a great dad, caring, and very proud of his daughters and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Capreol Curling Club in memory of Gord would be appreciated. A celebration of Gord’s life will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Capreol Curling Club, 1 Stull Street, Capreol, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  7. My uncle Gord was like a big brother to me that I never had. While he was attending high school in Altona Manitoba; he lived at my parents home (Abe & Sadie Dueck – Sadie being his oldest sister). He taught me how to ice skate and how to laugh. Sadly, those opportunities are gone. I will try to remember all the good times as hard as that is to do right now.

    I miss you already.
