It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Victor C. Weight on April 26, 2016 in Sudbury at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Lorraine Weight (née Ouellette) of Sudbury. Cherished father of Kimberly Weight and Brian Weight (Melanie). Grandfather of Hailey & Brayden Weight. He will be sadly missed by his K9 best friend Missy. Son of the late Victor Weight & Anna Weight (née DeBlassie). Brother to Linda Blake (Leonard), Deborah Weight (predeceased) & Timothy Weight (Helen Pearce) of Innisfil. Brother-in-law to Armand (Sue), Gaston (Clare) of Brunei, Daniel (Suzanne), Monique Brunet (André), Ronald, Estelle DiCintio (Angelo) of Sharbot Lake, Marc (Kim) of St. Thomas & Carole Sauve (Marc). Uncle too many nieces and nephews. Victor was a kindred spirit that brought joy and happiness to all those around him. He was born on September 5, 1950 in Galt, ON before moving to Sudbury when he was just 2 years old. Victor thoroughly enjoyed his summer time at the camp at the Noelville Family Resort where he met and had many friends. He would spend time there fishing or just sitting around the fire. There will be no funeral service, but a Celebration of Life for family and friends on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at 901 Lasalle Blvd in the Community Room from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Victor’s memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
