Weatherbee, Stan Renceford

In Loving Memory of Stan Renceford Weatherbee, 71 years who passed away at Health Sciences North on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Beloved husband of 51 ½ years to Lil (nee Hinds) Weatherbee. Incredible father of Stan (Rhonda), Tammi (Dan), Dean (predeceased) and Stacy (Joey). Wonderful and Amazing Papa of Mallory (Nick), Montana, Chris, Baily, Alayna, Callie and Katana. Papa was always the “go to guy” for his grandchildren. They held a very special place in his heart. Born March 31, 1944 in New Waterford, Cape Breton Island he was the son of the late Beatrice Ranson. Dear brother of Dorothy, Debbie, Beverly (predeceased), Jackie and Bobby. Special nephew of Aunt Dot and Stan. He never met a piece of wood and quart of ice cream he didn’t like. He was a “Jack of all Trades” and “Master of None”. Stan was a hard worker and retired from I.N.C.O. after 27 ½ years of dedicated service. His second home was anywhere he parked his trailer. He will certainly be missed but not forgotten by his Green Bay camping family. Lil said “she couldn’t have found a better man even if she looked for a hundred years”. He was her life. He taught her well and she will go on but he will never be far from her heart and mind. He will watch over her dutifully and every once in a while she will hear “Eh Lil”.
A message from his children;
Stan Jr. – “Thanks a lot Dad I had one room to go”!
Tammi – “Thanks for the Baby Blues and the strong personality”. Thanks will never cover the amazing things you did for me and my family – you are my hero.
Stacy – “I will be forever proud when I’m told I’m just like my Dad”.
A Celebration of Stan’s Life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 212 Frood Road, Sudbury on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 2:00 – 5:00p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Charity of your Choice will be appreciated
