Vinkle, Clare Joseph

August 20, 1962 – January 29, 2022

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Clare Joseph Vinkle at Health Sciences North in Sudbury with family by his side. Loving father to Catherine (Andre) Brunet, Lorrie-Claire Vinkle and Cory (predeceased). The Best Gramps ever to Bhaic MacLeod, Alexandre, Danika, and Justin Brunet.

Dear son to Lloyd (predeceased) and Florence Vinkle. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Valerie (Stan) Fox, Jody Semple, Kevin Vinkle and his Nephews Travis Semple, Brandon Schukan-Vinkle, Bryce and Dru (Amber) Semple. Cherished by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and lifelong friends.

Clare had a passion for fishing, the moment he started planning a new trip you knew that you were in for some fun. From memories of getting lost, to getting wet or having to paddle your way home he made sure to make it memorable.

There was rarely a week he missed his 2 & 1 ticket for Lotto 649. His daughters will continue the weekly donation in his honor.

Gramps leaves behind his boys Bhaic and Alex, they are so fortunate to have had a grandpa as special as him. Not one to ever say no Gramps made sure his boys would have many special memories of all the time they spent together. Epic partners in crime he made sure they knew how much he loved them, and that love was returned in full measure. His daily good morning calls and bad jokes will be irreplaceable.

Dad, thank you for your everlasting love, no matter what you have always been there for us. We love you and miss you so much – your girls.

A Celebration of Clare’s life will be held in the spring.
