Villemere, Robert William

In loving memory of the late Robert William Villemere, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 at Health Sciences North. Much loved son of the late William Irvan and Marion Ethel (nee Lucy) Villemere. Beloved brother of Marilyn G. Smith (Bill) of Manitowaning and Margaret Lanthier (Wilfrid) of Tecumseh. Cherished uncle of Sharon Whynott of Burlington, Peter Whynott (Kora-Lyn Paulin) of Sudbury, Joanne Gabor-Rice (Ed) of Tecumseh and Tammy Lanthier (predeceased) and great uncle of Sydney, Tayler, Emily, Shawn, Matthew, Emme-Leigh. Sadly missed by numerous cousins and many close friends. Bob loved to fish and hunt. He spent many weekends with his friends fishing and had his favorite spots to catch fish. He went moose hunting up north and deer hunting on Manitoulin Island, for many years. He was an avid bowler accumulating many trophies. Bob was a very sincere, caring and kind human being who spent most of his time helping others. He gave rides to the elderly who needed to attend different types of appointments, cut their grass and also shovel. He spent a lot of time at the church fundraising, cleaning and doing whatever needed to be done. The family will welcome relatives and friends at 10:00 a.m Saturday, December 12th, 2015 at All People’s United Church, 400 Antwerp Ave in Sudbury followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to All People’s United Church would be appreciated.
