Vandall, William (Bill)

April 29, 1964 - May 17, 2021

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of William Vandall at the Health Science North, Sudbury, Ontario at the age of 57. Beloved son of the late William and Rose Vandall. Dear brother to Olive Cloutier (Don). Uncle to Celyne (Dave), Melissa (Rodney), Renee (RJ). Great Uncle to Felicity, Taylor, Carter, Sadie and Olivia. Also survived by many cousins, Aunts and Uncles. William was born in Winnipeg and raised in Kenora. He later moved to Red Lake where he was employed with Domco Food Services at Campbell Mine in Red Lake. Bill made special caring friends that overseen him in his journey. Ed Tibbo, Ellen Rogers, Gary Poulton and Jason Jones. Never to forget his furry partner Cuddles. They all provided him with a loving bond of friendship, support and encouragement. He always had his sister Olive supporting and encouraging him every step of the way. He always provided her with comfort telling her, that he was going to be ok and don’t worry. He fought his illness to the bitter end. A private gathering of friends and coworkers will be held in Red Lake at a later date. The mine flew their flags at half-mast on the day they were informed of his passing, in his honor. As per Bill’s wishes, there will be no funeral services as cremation has taken place.
