Valentino, Barbara (nee Moretto)

It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Barbara Valentino (nee Moretto), 83 years on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Pioneer Manor surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Ray Valentino (predeceased March 2019).  Loving mother to Carol, Barry (Claire), Nino (Diane) and Darren (Brenda). Barb was a devoted grandmother to Kayla Childs (Matthew), Marissa, Kylie, Sara, Kortney and great-grandmother to her special little Madison whom she enjoyed visits with and facetiming every evening. Born in Sudbury, on July 2, 1936 to George and Beatrice Moretto along with her only brother Dido Moretto (predeceased). Some of Barb’s favourite past times were casino trips, shopping and vacationing in Florida. She devoted her life to her family as a stay at home mother. A very special thank you to the staff and residents at Pioneer Manor for their care and friendship. Due to the Pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date when family and friends can safely gather together. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barb’s memory directly to the MS Society.
