In Loving Memory of Louis Marie Tremblay, 70 years, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Left to mourn is his beloved wife of 48 years, Victoria Tremblay (née Aubertin). Loving father of Michael Tremblay (Cindy). Son of the late Jean-Joseph Tremblay and Blanche Tremblay / St. Jean (nee Girard) and Alcide St-Jean. Dear brother of Michelle Tremblay, Régis Tremblay, Pauline Tremblay, Monique Tremblay (Françis), Claude Tremblay and Rock St. Jean (Carole), Robert St. Jean, Daniel St. Jean (Lise) and Hélène St. Jean (John) all of Quebec. Sadly, missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Karen), Sue (Dave), Pete, Annette (Lawrence), Julie (Dan) and Simone. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Born and raised in Chicoutimi, QC, Louis came to Sudbury in 1970 to work as a Development Miner for Falconbridge Ltd. He married his best friend and wife Victoria in 1970 and their son Michael was born shortly after in 1974. He loved riding his motorcycles, camping at L&J Tent & Trailer Park on Manitoulin Island. An avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed spending time fishing and moose hunting with his son along with his “Budskis”. Upon his retirement from Falconbridge in 2001, he could be found enjoying his coffee time with friends at Timmie’s in Garson. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Louis’ Life will be held in the Spring of 2019 at his home. Family and friends will be notified. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made directly to Health Sciences North.

Survécu par ses frères et sœurs du Québec, Michelle Tremblay, Régis Tremblay, Pauline Tremblay, Monique Tremblay (Françis), Claude Tremblay, Rock St-Jean (Carole), Robert St. Jean, Daniel St. Jean (Lise) et Hélène St. Jean (John). Malheureusement manqué par ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, George (Karen), Sue (Dave), Pete, Annette (Lawrence), Julie (Dan) et Simone. Louis est prédécédé par sa mère Blanche Tremblay / St. Jean (née Girard) et ses deux pères, Jean-Joseph Tremblay et Alcide St. Jean. Beaucoup de nièces, de neveux et de membres de sa famille élargie se souviennent de lui. Né et élevé à Chicoutimi, Québec le 14 août 1948. Louis est déménagé à Sudbury en 1970 pour travailler comme mineur de développement pour Falconbridge Lté. Il a marié sa meilleure amie, sa femme de 48 ans, Victoria en 1970 et a acceullit son seul fils, Michael en 1974. Il adorait et s’amusait à conduire ses motocyclettes, faire du camping chez L&J Tent & Trailer Park sur l’île Manitoulin. Faire de la pêche et de la chasse à l’orignal avec son fils et ses “Budskis” sont des souvenirs mémorables. Il appréciait aussi ses pauses-café avec ses amis chez Timmie’s à Garson. Il s’est retiré de Falconbridge Lté. en 2001. Une célébration de sa vie aura lieu au printemps 2019 chez lui. Ses amis et sa famille seront avisés. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons peuvent être faits directement à Horizon Santé-Nord.
