Taylor, Phillip “Don”

Phillip Donald Taylor, age 58, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, June 18, 2020 in Sudbury, Ontario. Don was predeceased by his parents James and Peggy Taylor of Copper Cliff. Don was a loving father who was proud of his children Shawna Taylor, Jesse Taylor (Kierstyn), Ryan Copas and Grant Copas. He adored his grandchildren Mason, Benjamin, Ethan, and Elizabeth. He showered them with his love. Don is survived by his siblings Paticia Nadjiwon (Richard), Patrick Taylor (Michaela), and Kimberley Taylor. Don was known for his passion of hockey.  An avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, he never missed a game and owned the jerseys and memorabilia. He loved to swim, and he swam competitively in his youth. Don was also an amazing cook who delighted in entertaining and cooking for his family and friends. He had a beautifully genuine smile, sense of humour, charm, and a huge love for animals. As per Don’s wishes, there will be no service.
