It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Lorraine Tait, 68 years on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Health Sciences North surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife and best friend of Colin Wright. Loved mother of Lynn Petersen (Jim). Cherished grandmother of Ashley (Brett), Travis and Mellisa. Dearly loved sister of Joanne Methe (Claude), Suzanne Pilon (John), Carmen Gravelle (predeceased), Emilie Carriere (Rejean), Danielle Vaghon, Emile Jr. Vaillancourt (Hodan) and Alice Virani (Mirza). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and her extended family. Born in Mattawa, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Alice (née Lamoureaux) Vaillancourt. The family would like to thank Dr. Mathur and the nursing staff on the 8th floor at Health Sciences North for their compassion and care. At Lorraine’s request there will be no visitation or services.
