Soulliere, Richard “Ricardo” Thomas

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Richard Thomas Soulliere, 62, after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 4th, 2017 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury, surrounded by the love of his family and close friends. He is survived by his wife Danielle Soulliere (Belanger). He leaves behind the legacy of his children Stephane Soulliere (Sue), Nicholas Soulliere (Amber) and Daniel Soulliere (Crissy). He will be remembered as a loving pepere by his grandchildren Katelyn, Tyler, Madison, Samantha, Sarah and Emma. Born in Windsor, he was the son of the late George Soulliere, and is survived by his mother Margaret Soulliere (Shuttleworth). He will be forever missed by his brother Mike Soulliere (Denise) and his sister Amy Abbruzzese (Mike), along with his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and fellow track friends. Dad, you have left us with a plethora of beautiful memories and taught us the importance of family and hard work. Rick was a blacksmith and trained horses for many years with his family by his side; he took great pride in his work. He also cherished the outdoors and spending time with his family at camp “The Condo”. A Memorial Mass for Ricardo’s life will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Paroisse St. Joseph, 3594 Errington Ave, Chelmsford at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society or Maison McCulloch Hospice in his honour.

  1. John will remember his good memories with his brother. Wish that things could have been different and that our relationships could have been more than just Facebook. My family has lost many to cancer. No family should have to lose a loved one that way. You have our love and sympathies. John and Janice Soulliere
