It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Anna Soltysik on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 85 years. Anna was born in Pysznica, Poland, daughter of Walenty Soltysik and Barbara Bis and sister to 7 siblings. Anna moved to Sudbury, ON in 1959 where she married Joseph Suwala (predeceased 1999) and was a loving mother to John Suwala (Kristine Vannebo), Rose Menard and cherished babcia to Josee, Andre and Nicholas. Anna was always active and enjoyed travelling, gardening, picking blueberries, baking panchki and making golombki and perogies by the hundreds that she always shared with family and friends. Anna was also very artistic and loved to draw Polish Eagles, paint Easter eggs and loved to sing and play her organ, the louder the better. Anna was always there to help and will be sadly missed by many in Poland, Hamilton and here in Sudbury. At her request, a private remembrance will be held by her children.
