Snow, Donald Fraser

In Loving Memory of Donald Fraser Snow, 80 years who passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 29 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Patricia (Dury) who took care of him up to his last hour. Loving father of Brian (wife Kathy) and Bill (friend Tammy). Cherished grandfather of Chantal (husband Jerry), Brendon (wife Laura), Carolyn, Lianne and great-grandfather of Gia and Avi. Dear son of the late William and Lenore (McGlashen) Snow. Dearly loved brother of Glen (wife Doreen) and Jenny. Donald was predeceased by siblings Frank, George, Edith, Harold, Ruby, Billy, Esther, Doug, Gerald and Kenny. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Nova Scotia, he came to Sudbury in 1956 after serving in the Canadian Armed Forces as a peace keeper in Germany. He worked at I.N.C.O then as a milkman and small business owner. In the latter part of his career, he worked with his son for 25 years in property maintenance. Donald will be remembered for his hard work ethic and as a strong man that would never stop doing what he loved to do. The family will welcome friends at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday December 5th at St. John’s the Evangelist Church, 255 Church Street, Garson followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. John’s Pavement Project will be greatly appreciated.

6 Condolences

  1. Deepest sympathy to Don’s family.
I knew Don at Palm Dairy in late 60’s early 70’s where we worked on adjacent milk routes.
He was a true gentleman. Left a lasting impression all these years. Always wore a bow tie.
    Rest in peace Don.
