In Loving Memory of George Kenneth Smith, 71 years who passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2020 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice. Beloved husband of Denise (Arcand) Smith. Loving father of Steven Smith (Christine), David Smith (Claire), Tyler Smith (Helga), as well as loving step-father of Kay Amyotte, Mitchell Amyotte, and Steven Amyotte. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Born in Sudbury, he was the son of the late Anthony and Florence (nee Paquette) Smith. Dearly loved brother of Joan Gay, Pat Venne (Floriant), Marg Grosser (Erich), Gayle Mikkola (Einard), James Smith (Estelle), Betty O’Hearn (Ron), Joyce Dodds (Donald), Jennifer Lemega, and predeceased by siblings Pauline Smith, Robert Smith, Shirley Matson (Leonard), Tony Smith (Arlene) and Sandra Wright. A special uncle who will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. George was a well-known and respected teacher of the Trades at Cambrian College for over 45 years, who up until his illness in the fall was very active and enjoyed every minute.
