It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Annette Simpson (née Rochon), 82 years, on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. Loving mother of Denise Dupuis, Carrie-Lee Ormsby (Gary Pilatzke), Danny Simpson (Kim Dubreuil) and Debbie Schubert (Joe). Cherished grandmother of Danielle Dupuis (Nathan Taylor), Patrick Dupuis (Sherisse Wheeler), Keith Ormsby (Chelsea Gauthier), Kyle Ormsby (Maddie Denault), Justin Castonguay, Kaitlin Castonguay, Michael Shubert, Jessica Shubert, Kailey Shubert and great grandmother of Jayden and Austyn Dupuis. Born in Alban, ON, to the late Roger and Orisna (née Joanette) Rochon. She will be sadly missed by Fred Simpson and friends. “On September 21, 2019 we gained an angel. Annette will forever be in our thoughts and prayers. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.” We are so happy she is no longer suffering; however, it will take a long time for us to heal from our loss. We love you so much Mom. Please watch over us and take care of our sweet Mia.” In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Osteoporosis Canada. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at St Patrick’s Parish, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury.
