It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Estelle Simard on Sunday, February 19, 2017, with loving family by her side at Health Sciences North at the age of 73. Born in North Bay, ON to the late William and Annette Simard (Duchesne). Loving mother of Michelle Dufresne-Dupuis, Rob Dufresne, Shawn Dufresne and Tim Dufresne (pre-deceased). Beloved grandmother of Jamie (Krista) Dupuis, Cody (Shalyn) Dupuis, Jenna Dufresne, Jaylin Dufresne, Brooke Dufresne, Amanda Lynn Gravelle and Krystal Depencier and doting great grandmother of Mia, Myanna, Mason, Mackinlee and Chase. Cherished sister of Albert Simard (Helene-predeceased), Diane Bouchard (Maurice), Ivan Simard (Linda) and Anne Simard. Her greatest joy and love was seeing and spending time with her grandchildren which always brought that extra special spark in her eyes. Mom, we love you and miss you terribly, we will see you again. As per her wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Estelle’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Shriner’s Club 1260 Brookes St. in North Bay, ON., lunch will be served. Estelle will be laid to rest alongside her parents William and Annette in the spring at St. Mary's cemetery in North Bay.
