SERVAIS, Carmene Julienne (née Gratton)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our dearest angel who went to be with her Lord and Saviour while surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the young age of 67, at Maison McCulloch Hospice. Together, “Mommy” and Noel shared 45 beautiful years as husband and wife, raising their children, camping for many years, enjoying retirement, and loving their adorable granddaughter. She was a devoted Momma to her two daughters Julie Freire (Pedro) and Gabrielle Servais, always putting their needs before her own. Proud and cherished grandma to Amelia, her pride and joy who she dotted on. Carmene is predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Adrienne (nee Groulx) Gratton. She is a beloved sister to Suzanne Poitras (Claude), late Monique Baril and the late Roland Gratton (Costenza). She is predeceased by her in-laws Albert and Claire (nee Gladu) Servais. Carm will also be missed by her brothers and sisters-in law Marcel Servais, Maurice Servais (Kim), Rachelle Royer (late Don), Giral Servais and Denise Marcotte (Gaston). She will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews who thought very highly of her. As a talented quilter everyone will continue holding the gifts, she gave them close to their hearts. The love she had for her family was unconditional. Carm was loved by many and has touched many lives in very special ways. She had a caring heart and a gentle soul that mirrored her love for God. We will all cherish good memories of her while we mourn her loss. A private Celebration of Life with a graveside service at Valley East Cemetery will be held this summer. If so desired, in memory of our mother, donations can be made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice https://maisonsudburyhospice.org/donate.

She has fought a good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith.
