In loving memory of Elizabeth Séguin (née Doucet), her family announces her passing on October 27, 2022, at the age of 91 years. She died peacefully at Extendicare York.
Born September 3, 1931, in Blind River she grew up in Bigwood, ON. Daughter of the late Georges and of the late Rose (née Leblanc) Doucet. Loving wife of Arthur Séguin (predeceased 1979). Beloved mother of Denis Séguin (Ildi) from BC, Claude Séguin (Cathy) from BC, Carole Burant (Eddie) from Valley East, Michel Séguin (Paulette) from Toronto and Guy Séguin (Belinda) from Erin. Dear sister of Rodolphe Doucette and predeceased by her siblings Hubert, Gerry, Rose Anna, Leonne, Euclide, Roger, Fabiola, Georges, Thomas, Delima, Joseph and André. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Shawn, Corey, Chantal, Zachary, and Michel Jr. as well as her great-grandchildren Lily, Chloe, Hudson, Wyatt, and Giulia.
She will always be remembered for her loving heart, caring ways, generosity, cooking and baking… and oh yes, her love of sweets!! Her family wishes to thank the 5th floor at Extendicare York, you were all extremely wonderful in the caring of our mom and often went above and beyond. We appreciate you!
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Elizabeth, donations can be made directly to a charity of choice.

Roger and I were saddened to hear of mom-s passing. Our deep condolences to all of the mom’s family. Mom was always accepting of people into her home and would cook and vake up a storm. She did beautiful crafts. Always friendly and caring.
