In loving memory of Gunter Schmitz who passed away at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Anderson). Loving father of Debra (Ray) Gravelle, Paul (Dianne predeceased), David and Glenn (Tracy Bogdan). Gunter also leaves behind his sister Sonja (George predeceased) Rutkouski of Lively, brothers Winfried (Margaret) Boczek of Sudbury, Togo (Renate) Boczek of Sudbury, Tony (Jeanette) Boczek of Kingson and Edgar (Dianne) Boczek of Pinawa, Manitoba. Gunter will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Gunter touched many people’s hearts and will be remembered for the 50 plus years he did upholstery for a living in the Greater Sudbury Area. His craft was loved and appreciated by many along with his laughter and his many stories.
