It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Aline Savard at Health Sciences North in the ICU, surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 62. She will be dearly missed by her children Nancy Laurin, Shawn Laurin, Mark Blais, and her grandchildren Connor and Ethan Switzer. Cherished sister of Robert (predeceased) (Aline) Savard, Claudette (Claude) Hurtubise, Roy Savard (predeceased), Ronald, (Herma) Savard, Richard (predeceased) (Leona) Savard, Pauline (Lloyd) Gaudette, Normand (predeceased) (Doreen) Savard, Diane (predeceased) (Richard) Vendette, Lise (Howard-predeceased) Russell, Jauques (Heather) Savard and Guy (Lise) Savard. She will be sadly missed by her countless nieces, nephews as well as her dearest life long friend June Servant. Daughter of the late Roy James Savard and Emerentienne Marie (nee Gaudrault). Aline will be remembered as being a mother to any child, a friend to any foe and the strongest person I will ever have the privilege of calling my mom. Interment will be held at the Lasalle Blvd cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, a Celebration of Aline’s life will follow at the home of Claude and Claudette Hurtubise.
Aline, you will always be remembered by me and my family. We were fortunate to have known you. May you find your place among the angels. My deepest condolences to Nancy, Shawn, Connor and Ethan for your loss. Aline was a wonderful influence for us all.
