Roy, Michel

On April 25, 2019 Michel (Mikey) Roy passed away at the age of 61 leaving us with special memories. Son of the late Victor and Yvette Roy. Survived by his sisters Lina Roy, Paulette Larochelle, and Chantal Christensen. He will be missed by his extended family at the Cedar Residence. Whether it was splashing around in the lake, fishing off the dock, going to festivals, or rides over the bumpiest roads, Mikey’s sense of adventure and love of life was evident every day. You could hear Mikey’s giggle and happy squeal as he did the things he loved. The bonds he shared with his friends at the residence was truly amazing, knowing most of them for over thirty years. Mikey was a living example that love has no bounds. Special thanks to the staff at Health Sciences North and to all the staff at the Cedar Residence, especially those staff that have been with Mikey for so many years. Arrangements entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cedar Residence in the summer. We will miss your smile and those big brown eyes. Thank you Mikey for teaching us so much over the years and allowing us to be part of your journey.
