Roy, Lynne Anne (née Deschamps)

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Lynne Roy in her home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the age of 57 years. Daughter of the late Emile and Kathleen (née Langlois) Deschamps. Beloved wife of the late Denis Roy. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Nicole Roy, and Patrick Roy. Dear sister of Robert Deschamps (Susan), Kimberly Deschamps (late Marcel), and Kevin Deschamps (Tammy). Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lynne was born in Blind River ON, she later met the love of her life Denis in Elliot Lake where she moved and had 2 beautiful children. She was a stay-at-home mom while her husband worked as a miner, which took them to many different places in their lives, eventually settling in Chelmsford ON, for the last 25 years. She was a very doting wife and mother; her family was the most important thing in her life. Her passion was bowling, she bowled in two leagues, one of those leagues was with the Special Olympics. Lynne loved animals, especially her cats, they will miss her dearly. She loved life and was very dedicated to helping many of her friends who had special needs, she will be missed greatly. As per Lynne’s wishes there will be no service or visitations, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Epilepsy Canada, and would be greatly appreciated.
