It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Amanda Roy (née Levert) on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Kirkland and District Hospital at the age of 35 years. Beloved wife of Eric Roy. Loving mother of Néomie and Chloé Roy. Born in Sudbury to Normand (predeceased) and Carole (née Melancon) Levert. Dear sister of Chantale Garber (Grant), Normand Jr. Levert (Cheryl), and Eric Levert. She will be missed by her father in-law and her mother in-law, Robert and Colette Roy, as well as her sister in-law, Melanie Roy-Hadley (Bruce). Dear aunt of Jayden, McKennah-Lee, Olivia, Noah, Mila, Tyler, and Britney. Amanda will be sadly missed by friends, extended family, and her fur babies, Daisy (who recently passed away) and Trixie. Amanda was always happy, smiling, and willing to give a helping hand. She will truly be missed and never forgotten. As per the families wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Amanda était toujours heureuse, souriante et prête à donner un coup de main. Elle sera toujours manquée et jamais oubliée. Selon les souhaits de la famille, il n'y aura ni service ni visite. With a heavy heart I send my families deepest condolences to her loving husband Eric and their girls. Amanda was my friend, coworker and puppy play day partner. My family met her and her family when we moved to this quiet remote community of Virginatown. In a community this size everyone seems to know a little or a lot about each other. Those who have lived here for a long time are known most. Amanda and her family have been here a very long time. Many knew her and of her. In my short 7 years here Amanda has always had good positive things said of her. It was easy to make friends with Amanda, she radiated a kind open welcoming heart to everyone. Never treating anyone lesser then the next. A fair soul to everyone she met. Working with Amanda was fun, she had that effect, a positive person. Amanda was grateful and happy with her world. You could tell when her eyes lite up when she talked about her girls, her husband, their plans, her puppies, visiting her family out of town, and her winter plans. We will truly miss our friend, her sense of humor, her smile and her laugh. Our warmest condolences to her family.

My sincere condolences to Eric and the girls. Amanda and I have been friends since the tender age of 6. She was always a beautiful heartfelt soul with a generous nature. She always put others above herself. She will be greatly missed.
