It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of John Albert Ross, 74 years, on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury. Beloved husband of 52 years to Jeannette Ross (née Légère). Loving father to Ron Ross (Rhonda) and Diane Deagle (Alvin). Cherished grandfather to Remington and Marissa (Casey). Born in Sudbury, ON to Albert (predeceased) and Gertrude Ross. Dear brother to Yvette Smashmuk (Charlie), Noëlla Desormeaux (Claude), Pauline Perrin (Robert), Normand Ross, Richard Ross, Lorraine Woodliffe (Mark) and Larry Ross. John will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A special thank you to his sister in law and brother in law, Anita and Valmond Lanteigne for your support, love and kindness. The family would also like to say thank you to the staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice for all the wonderful care. At John’s request, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donation made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
