In loving memory of Solange Rochon (née Bock) who’s prayers were answered when God took her home while in the company of family and friends. She was born in Notre dame de la Paix in 1931 to the late Ariste Bock and Adélina Perth. Beloved mother of Claudette (André Robidoux), Nicole (Marc Robidoux), Monic (Tim Shaw) and Marc (Terry-Lynn). Proud grandmother of nine, great grandmother of six and great great grandmother of one. Previously deceased by her husband Gérard and her sister Lucie and brother Jean Charles. Survived by brothers and sisters Jacques (Denise deceased), Richard (Léonne), Huguette (Aimé), Lise and cherished friends Edna and Jan. Solange was a woman of deep faith and creativity who could sew a wedding gown or build you a home. We will cherish the time we had with her. Funeral mass will be held at St. Anne des Pins Church, 14 Beech Street, Sudbury on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. where friends and family may gather at 9:30 a.m.

Marc, Terry-Lynn and family….my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear mother. I am so sorry I am not able to attend the funeral and say goodbye to Solange in person. Words are so inadequate at a time like this, but take comfort in the words of St. John Chrysostom:
“She whom we love and lose is no longer where she was before. She is now wherever we are.”
